Default World's cheapest helmet cam

For this price you can throw them away when you're done!

Here is something you folks might be interested in. They have been all the rage in the R/C aircraft community but they haven’t really caught on so much yet with motorcyclists.

It’s the type 3 808 keychain cam. You can get them off eBay for about $10.00 + the cost of the flash memory card at your local retailer.

For those that don’t know the lowdown on these. They come out of China and come in various form factors but the keychain is most popular. Rumor is, they are made out of rejected cell phone components that did not quite make the grade so the parts are reused on the secondary market to make crap like this. They are total junk but when they work, they work well. Most R/C guy’s order them a few at a time and just throw out the duds.

One of the many links for this product:

EBay seller "troyexporter" http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=220596028207
(These are for sure type 3 cameras)

A sample of the camera in action with a simple velcro mount:

Note: I copied and pasted some of this info from CBX World dot com and yes I'm ordering a few!

OMG!!! Too unbelievable!!! These things kick ass!!! It's raining all day so no bike cam video but I've been experimenting around the house. Sound and video are great!!! I'm still grinning/laughing! Oh.....the possibilities!!! You're all phucked!!!! Ah, in a good funny way though!

Here is the EBayer I got them from, (bought 2). They appear to be located in NY. Ordered them last Sunday and got them in the mailbox on Friday. $13.95 each and free shipping!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWNX:IT

You will need to buy a micro SD card to make it work. I picked one up at Wally World this am, 8MB with the adapter card for $24. I really need to do some research and find these cards on the cheap or on sale somewhere. Still, your total investment for 1 camera and 1 8MB card, $38!!! Not bad! The camera comes with a USB cable which charges the internal battery and allows you to transfer your video or pics to your PC with ease!

Now the bad news.......the freakin instructions are in broken engrish! sucki big time!!! No problems though......thank you YouTube:

So there you have it. I am totally impressed! Videos to come soon. Keep your tits covered and make sure you're wearing panties! Bwahahahahahahaha!!!!

Here's my test ride with my Keychain cam. I did run it through movie maker to reduce the file size. I think YouTube degrades it a bit too. Still, the original footage was crystal clear, sound was good and with more experimenting I think it's going to be alright!

BTW, I'm going to get some hottie club footage asap! Bwahahahaha!!! I'll try and keep it clean! Really........

hate to say it but that's a good a picture, maybe better, than my Tachyon - wow! That would be awesome if everyone could wear one of those on our daily rides for when some cager does something really stupid in front of us.
