whatever u do dont be pulled over wearing 1 of those " dont taze me bro" shirts.
1st think id do is shut down bike, take gloves and helmet off. and most of all be respectful to the officer

I guess I'll throw in my opinion on the CWP piece of the question. I don't carry when I ride, that just doesn't work for me. But if I'm carrying in car, and get pulled over, I always hand over my permit with my license. If I were the LEO I'd want to know that a firearm was in the vehicle, and I think I would be relieved to know the person wasn't a convicted felon - at least at the time of the permit getting issued.

Why does someone have to be a loser for carrying a gun on a bike? That could very well be the same person that saves your life some day.

My main concen is the adrenaline and possible anger about having to go fast to catch up to me in the first place.
Obviously I want to make it clear from the start that I am not going to run by pulling over quickly as soon as it is safe to do so.
Concensus from discussion here and elsewhere seems to be:
Helmet and gloves off, remain seated on bike, produce documents when asked to do so, address LEO as "Officer", no excuses for speed etc., no attempt at humor.

I'm like you, would be curious what our "resident LEO's" would have to say. But I can tell you, it probably depends on the personality of the individual officer, what kind of a day he's having, what kind of bike you are riding and what your infraction (or alleged infraction was).

Hey guys. Its been a while since I have been on and posted. I will try to answer this question for you all as best as I can. When your stopped the best thing to do is take your helmet, gloves, etc. off. I would wait on getting out the DL, registration and insurance card (if needed). I dont like seeing too much moving around, It kind of makes me nervous. If you are carrying I like to see the CCW permit with the DL. I really dont care if you call me officer or sir, just be polite and dont say "What the fawk do you want?" LOL.. I say that cause I have had it happen and to make a long story short at the end of the stop he was told to press hard 4 copies. The most important thing to remember is DONT LIE. We all know what we were pulled over for so just admit to it. Honesty goes along way.
